Dance clubs in Atlanta, GA. I’m coming from minneapolis to ATL, what’s the best mulit-racial club big floor?

looking for mostly hip hop, reggae, nothing too ghetto and no place that’s not safe. If a good spot to meet a woman, that’s a plus, but i just want to dance my butt off, nothing too crunk either. Need a different spot for march 23rd, 24th, 25th? I want to see a diverse crowd, not just all black.

I would recommend Loca Luna. It’s a tapas restaurant but also a dance club. It usually is packed with a very diverse crowd…predominately Latin music. Also MJQ is pretty good. It has three different areas that play different sorts of music and attract different crowds, so there is a little something for everyone. I also really like Halo. It’s very trendy (drinks priced to match, of course) but it’s hard to find if you aren’t looking. I have been there and heard amazing music and other times just mediocre. Hope this helps.

MJQ Concourse right off of Ponce de Leon is awesome and very diverse. The music is good, the atmosphere is casual and the people are there to ahve a good time, not just to show off their new outfit. Another place is Bellbottoms in Buckhead. They play alot of old school hip-hop and R&B and again, the people are very friendly, and are not about showing off, just having a good time. It’s, as you may have already assumed, an older crowd and not as diverse as MJQ but it is diverse. Oh, and it’s easy to meet people there! Very easy!
