What are some things to do in a driving trip from minnesota to new mexico?

Me and my friend are driving to Las cruces NM in August and we want to knwo if there are any hot spots to stop on our way… were only teens so dont give us names of strip clubs and over 21 bars and stuff… well HELP!!
