The Minneapolis Warehouse District is perhaps the best place to get away to in the summer and cool your mind, body and spirit. The place is full of cool clubs with really good music. It’s a good place for relaxing too, with all the sidewalk cafes that you will find on the streets. The sidewalk cafes are a great place to hang out and offer great food. There’s a blazing view of the road as people and vehicles stream by. The historic warehouse district offers the visitor all sorts of arts and entertainment attraction spots to make it a worthwhile walk along its streets.
The downtown side of the Warehouse District is the best place to reside. There are many dwellings that are in fact converted old warehouses, and also many newer buildings which have recently come up. The best places have massive windows, exposed brick structures, ample lighting, and a lot of open space. Very few buildings in Minneapolis and St. Paul offer such amazing places to live in.
The first street runs both along the south and the north directions from the Itasca building and has got lots of converted warehouses and factories. However, not many popular and decent bars are present in the vicinity of the Itasca building. This part of the Warehouse District seems to be strictly for business.
On the other side of the Warehouse District, you’ll find the Origami, perhaps the best Sushi place in the whole town. The ACME Comedy Club is located on the first floor, and the Sapor Café and Bar is also situated nearby. Except for these places, not many other joints are available within the vicinity. To visit the city, the distance will need the service of a car or some other type of transport. A few blocks further away there are a few good bars and restaurants on the Hennepin Avenue.
Whenever you visit Minneapolis, hotel accommodations should be booked before you arrive in the city. A Downtown Minneapolis hotel will provide the easy access and convenience you need to go back and forth between the hotel and attraction sites.
